• Research of both state and federal policy and advocacy, including tracking of all bills which affect your industry

• Development of a grassroots network in which your members are given the tools, training, and information to get involved directly with advocacy

• Consistent, up-to-date information on advocacy efforts communicated to your members using online communication tools and print vehicles

• Legislative/advocacy planning and coordination of your association's policy development activities, including staff liaison activities for your policy committees (examples include, Legislative, Regulatory, and Reimbursement Committees)

• Management of communications with regulatory bodies at both the state and federal levels.

• Experience in writing legislative talking points, legislative letters, legislative testimonies, and legislative priorities

• Coordination of lobbying days either at the state or national capital
