Betsi Roach, Account Executive

With more than 15 years in the association, legal and financial services industry, Betsi Roach plays a vital role at TCAG serving as executive director of the Legal Marketing Association.

Betsi served as director of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law in Chicago for eight years prior to joining TCAG. Her strong leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning and internal and external communications helped grow her section to nearly 20,000 members. She is skilled in business development, branding, corporate and vendor relations.

Betsi earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of Minnesota and earned a master’s degree in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management, Thunderbird Campus, Glendale, Ariz. She studied abroad in Russia, focused on intensive Russian language and cultural issues. Similarly she had intensive Spanish language and cultural study at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. Betsi also has extensive volunteer experience, including board activity as vice president for Creating Pride -arts education for children in Chicago Public Schools. She has served as a literacy program tutor for Hispanic youth, a figure skating instructor, and a downhill skiing instructor.
