Kunal Thapar
Director of Information Systems

Kunal leads TCAG’s technology team, overseeing the conception, development and delivery of innovative solutions across a range of technology platforms. His multifaceted experience and business insight contribute to TCAG’s seamless interactive solutions. Kunal is responsible for the entire IT infrastructure including but not limited to network systems, database management, and reporting structures that allow associations to strategically target and communicate with different constituent member groups.

Kunal brings over 6 years of experience in the technology arena. His logic-based skills in networking, programming, quality assurance and information architecture, as well as expertise in organic information design allow him to create technology solutions that seamlessly integrate systems and databases while ensuring user functionality. Kunal formerly worked as IT Manager for SolutionPeople, an innovation company, based in Chicago. He is the creator and developer of the FlashBrainer, the world’s first Flash based innovation tool and PodBrainer, world’s first innovation tool for the ipod. Both have been nominated for the Chicago Innovation Awards and recommended by Business Week. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration Degree.
